A easy to drive and quick car. Slow in, fast out is the key to cornering in this car. Enjoy.

In stock form this car is pretty bad. Heavy, understeering and feels like a boat. This car is now easier to drive, looser in the rear and you can have a bit of fun with it. It is by no means perfect but it is a vast improvement on stock.

This car also works for the dirt race challenge for the week of 29/3/24. Stick a set of dirt tyres on it and your good to go.

A great Gr.2 car. Fast, consistent and good on fuel. Easy win for those 900PP Gr.2 races.

Gran Turismo 7 Setups

Hello all and welcome to Exeter GT Tuning. Once upon a time ago I had a modest sized tuning garage in GT6 but life got in the way for GT Sport and I didn't have the time or enough energy to keep going with the tuning aspects of that game. For GT7 however, I am definitely going to back and will be posting tunes for cars once more!

I look forward to seeing some of the old people from my previous thread and also new people who are looking for easy to drive cars in GT7.

I will be making the old style tunes that made GT6 more fun to play and as has always been the case, feel free to chat, ask any questions and comment on any of the tunes that will be forthcoming.

In time I will be more open about why I went quiet for so long but for now Hello again everyone! Sorry I was not about for ages and I hope to see a few of you in GT7 in the future.
hello just to thank you for the work you have done as a beginner and a fan of GT7 it helps me enormously and I know how much time it takes you again thank you for your kindness see you soon

Hey old friend, long time no talk to.
I'm late to the party, finally upgraded and bought GT7. Been about a month or so, going to see if your tuning still works for me, although I do feel slower than I was in GT6. Still trying to grab onto the tuning, haven't found much other than LSD and camber I'm happy with but might be a bit high on camber.
Any tips????

Hey. Happy to see your back on GT again.

You will soon pick up the speed, it is slightly different in physics and tuning seems to take a little longer for me compared to GT6.
Suspension tuning is trickier than it use to be but I find using less camber on road cars and more on racing cars helps. LSD settings seem to help a lot when fine tuning suspension as you can tighten or induce wheel spin.

I always start with power/weight. Suspension+LSD, Anything after than is purely for car balance.

The tunes I have here have been around for a little while but a large majority still work well after lots of updates.

Yeah, working on in but have not spent too much time on fine tuning yet. Very much so enjoying this GT. Few little things are annoying, like the roulette wheel stopping on an invitation only Ferrari, only to jump 1 more time and give me only 10k. But, for the most part, think this might be the best GT yet.

Oh yeah, be prepared for massive disappointment with the roulette spins. Sometimes you'll get something amazing but otherwise its just 10000 credits or invites. Parts are useful at times though.

I would definitely suggest doing the circuit experiences, licenses and missions as soon as possible, they are a great way to get lots of free cars and 10mil + in cash in a few short days. A nice starter pot for all the cars you'll end up wanting to tune.

On a personal experience level, GT6 was the best for me because of the events we use to do and the fun side of the game with other players. for the most part this game has better features and slightly more game play. The downside for me is the online racing. It is definately GT Sport rehashed and not that much better in the events you can enter into. Definitely needs to be a better system for the online racing side.

I stay offline, not enough time for lobbies or daily races. Most of my time I'd spent buying and building the days I want, collecting those that I will get to eventually. I do miss the FITT events and yhe group as a whole. Bunch of fun guys. If my PS3 did not stop reading bluray disc's, I would likely stoll be playing GT6. Spent the lady 9 months in so playing GT and GT2. Great fun, but graphics hurt the eyes.
